quranicmessage.com is an Islamic education and content platform. The job of the website is reading: articles that a global audience can open, navigate, and return to. That is a different problem from a sales homepage. We organised sections and type so long-form content is the product.
Typography is the interface
Education sites fail when body text is light grey on a busy background. We prioritised readable measure (line length), headings that outline the article, and navigation that does not steal vertical space from the essay. Decorative Islamic patterns, if used, stay out of the reading column.
Information architecture
Articles need homes — sections, not an infinite blog sludge. Clear section landing pages help both humans and search engines understand topical clusters. Internal links should point to related lessons, not random keywords.
Global audience, simple chrome
Visitors may be on slow connections. We avoided heavy homepage carousels. The first visit should reach an article, not a 15-second brand video.
Relationship to Quranic Research
A research-oriented sister site has a different tone (publications, scholarly layout). We did not clone one theme onto both and swap the logo. See Quranic Research for the academic counterpart.
Outcome
A live content platform whose primary UX is “I can read this.” That is the correct success metric for education publishers.
